Speech Writing

  • Sweaty palms
  • Heart palpitations
  • Shortness of breath
  • Dizzy and light-headed

…and that’s just from thinking about giving the speech.

When you’re not properly prepared or unsure of your speech, it’s even that much harder to
stand up in front of a crowd and make a coherent statement. Most of the world has a fear of
speaking in front of a crowd.

I find that when you are prepared, know exactly what you want to say, and have
written a
killer speech
, you don’t experience as much anxiety. You might even be looking forward to
it.

I’ve ghostwritten several books and eBooks on
public speaking to help small business
owners, CEOs, wedding party member and others defeat that fear of speaking in front of an
audience.

I don’t believe in templates. I believe in
original speeches, written specifically for the
person for that occasion

A few of the types of speeches I can write for you:
Business speeches
Retirement speeches
Wedding speeches
Anniversary speeches
Awards speeches
Graduation speeches
Political speeches

You may still have jitters, but being prepared and coming armed with a
great speech will
help with that.

I’ve met some very educated people, who have tried to write their own speeches. BORING!
SNORE!. Even though the
speeches were jam-packed with information, they still missed
the mark. They didn’t take into account their audience, the length of time they were
expected to speak or developing a style within the
speech that would carry over into the
actual delivery.

By the time I’m done with you. You will…
  1. Speak with authority
  2. Entertain your audience
  3. Be asked back for a repeat performance
  4. Get other speaking engagements
  5. Survive the anxiety

I’m not going to be the right person to
write a speech you need to give to a medical journal
or something of that aspect, but I have quite a range. Tell me about your topic, and your
audience and we can discuss ideas.

I’ve been
writing speeches for both personal and business events. I also provide voice
analysis, performance tips and last-minute turn around if you wait to late and find yourself
in a jam.

Tell me about your speaking engagement below…
Publicity

Performers, artists, athletes and even businesses need publicity to take their
business to the next level. If you don’t believe me, check out what happens
when the media talks about something:

“Sales of a book Obama was supposedly reading increased by 40%

… and you know what happens when Oprah says she likes something

The media is a powerful tool for your marketing. It’s free advertising. And it’s
probably some of the most powerful advertising you can get. Because of this, it’
s some of the hardest advertising that you can secure. Everyone is trying to
get the media’s attention. Very few succeed.

It’s not impossible to get on television, in newspapers, on the radio or in magazines
without paying hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Lucky for you, the media needs juicy stories to fill up their 24-hour news cycles

Webster Defines Public Relations:
Public relations specialists engage in promoting or creating good will for
individuals, groups or organizations by writing or selecting favorable publicity
material and releasing it through various communications media.

I define it as getting someone with a camera, microphone and a captive
audience to talk about your business, your products and your services.

That’s why I’m here.

I work with you from concept to submission. I get just as much joy out of
seeing you succeed as you do. I will also help you with follow-ups, generating
contacts, and networking.

Before we can go any further, I need to know a little about your business
concept and your ideas for publicity before I can accept your project.

I won’t waste your time. I’m going to be frank. Most business owners and
individuals that contact me don’t have anything newsworthy going on. The
good news is that we can work together to change that.

Video Scripts

Make your products or services visually irresistible
Train your employees
Inspire donors to open their wallets

Video is an extremely powerful medium. Look at television and see how
moving pictures with sound influence people.

So often, we forget that the magic in video starts with the words on the page.
I write:
  • video scripts used in training,
  • video scripts for proposals and investing,
  • video scripts for marketing.

Bruce Miller said, "Corporate writers accustomed to churning out newsletters
and brochures often approach the video script the same way--as words
illustrated by pictures. Unlike the two-dimensional print world, video offers a
writer a dynamic, multi-dimensional palette--action, camera movement, point
of view, sound effects, music, character, dialogue, narration--even silence."

Take advantage of my:
  • Analytical ability
  • Interest in diverse topics
  • Organizational skill
  • Empathy for your audience
  • Writing skill
  • Ability to think visually.
  • Creativity
  • Presentation and selling skills
  • Ability to work on a team

I won’t waste your time. If I don’t see the potential, then I won’t accept your
project. If I do, I will draft an evaluation plan, prepare the grant documents
for submission, proof read, submit your application and proposal and follow-
up with the organization.
